Adventures of Tarly the Turtle
Tarly the Turtle was released on the 29th January 2009, after 14 months in the safe care of Kelly Tarlton’s Antarctic Encounter Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre in Auckland, New Zealand. She was fitted with a Sirtrack KiwiSat 101 Argos satellite transmitter in order to monitor her movements post release. The maps below track her movements. Map will be updated biweekly.
