Reptiles as Pets
Reptiles do make really interesting pets but they have some very specific environmental and dietary requirements. The reptiles available for sale in New Zealand are generally imported tropical species from Australia or Asia. Common sense automatically tells you that it is much warmer and more humid in the tropics.
