About our Vet: Dr. Linda Hayes grew up in Hastings and has always had a passion for animals and their welfare.
Linda did her training in the USA and completed an post graduate internship in small animal emergency and critical care. She has had advanced training in birds, reptiles, zoo medicine, marine mammals and fish medicine.
After starting a family Linda moved back to the Bay where she has done locum work at many small animal practices in the area as well as continuing with her love of exotic pets.
Linda has been part-time at Animalz in Napier for the past 4 years as a small animal vet. She is the consulting vet for the NZ aquarium in Napier, the Westshore Wildlife Reserve Kiwi facility and Cape Kidnappers Wildlife Preserve.
